Downtown Throwdown Live Webcast & Shop Viewing Parties!

DTTD-Boston-Webcast

We are stoked to announce we are partnering with longtime Downtown Throwdown supporter Snowboarder Magazine to bring the first ever live webcast of the event. From Boston to Budokan, coffee shops around the world are stocking up to handle the rush of people in search of FREE WI-FI…it’s gonna be BANANAS!

The webcast will begin this Saturday, October 18 at 2PM EST and end after we hand out $20,000 in cardboard I.O.U.’s at 5PM EST. View the webcast here.

On top of the live webcast on Snowboarder Magazine, we are also throwing some regional DTTD Viewing Parties with some of key shops in the US and Canada. Here is the list of the viewing parties are happening on Saturday:

  • Boardroom / Ellicottville, New York
  • Martini Skate & Snow / Northfield, Ohio
  • The Source / Calgary, Alberta
  • The Source / Edmonton, Alberta
  • The Source / Red Deer, Alberta
  • Salty Peaks / Salt Lake City, Utah
  • US Outdoor / Portland, Oregon
  • Boardroom / Vancouver, BC

Each shop will be raffling off a brand new Lib Tech Burtner Boxscratcher snowboard, Lib Tech Storm Factory Jacket & Pants, Lib Tech cruiser skateboard plus a bunch of t-shirts and hats. Stop by and support your local shop!

Lib Tech’s Downtown Throwdown (DTTD) has grown from a local DIY project to the most anticipated and respected urban snowboarding event in the world, while entertaining tens of thousands of people over the past eight years in Seattle, San Francisco and Minneapolis and paying out over $1000,000 to date.
