“I went from breaking over 100 polyester boards a year to having one Lib Tech Waterboard last me all year. I am so stoked to be working with these guys. They are radically pushing surfboard construction and materials forward in multiple directions at once… performance, durability and environmental. Everyone sprays about all kinds of new surf constructions and over the years I have ridden and broken them all… the Lib Tech boards are unreal…you will see, they really are the future.” ~Ryan Carlson
“Ryan Carlson is incredible. He told me he gets so low to his board sometimes he bruises his balls. I don’t think he ever got the respect he deserves for being one of the best air guys ever. He committed his life to pushing aerial surfing and I have seen him do things that are not human. Thanks for always blowing my mind Ryan and being such a good guy.” ~Joe Foster / The Inertia In 2011
Ryan was the winner of SME’s $25,000 Surf Video Contest at the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, CA. Other finalists included: Mason Ho, Chris Ward, Nate Yeomans, Mike Losness and Asher Pacey.
