Men’s Journal: Best for Powder – Gnu Beast DC3 BTX
The Beast is a directional freeride board with rocker between the feet and aggressive camber in the tip and tail, and might just be the best powder board around. Tested and co-designed by backcountry rider Temple Cummins, it features a set-back stance and long, spoon-shaped nose – a combination that provided us with unrivaled float in the deepest snow. The graphic, a collaboration with Oregon’s Pendleton Woolen Mills, will make this board look good on the wall once the season’s over. [$540; gnu.com]
