New Technology Available Now!
Seattle, WA – The Lib Tech experiMENTAL division continues to attack conventional snowboard design stagnation with innovation and fun. The Lib Tech Attack Banana is the latest evolution of revolutionary industry changing Banana Technology (rocker between your feet) and “Innovation of the Year winning” C2 Banana Camber combo.

The Attack Banana features Steven Cobb’s EC2 elliptical camber banana combo. Why would you want this? Because it mindlessly rips all terrain and snow conditions in both directions from your centered freestyle stance. The elliptical camber creates a unique “pressure map” and performance characteristics that are halfway between the original Banana and the aggressive C2 Power Banana geometry that Travis Rice likes so much. This board is the perfect design compromise that will leave you anything but compromised when it comes to all terrain freestyle performance. Floats in powder, carves the hardpack, rips the ice, jibs like whatever will not let you down when things get gnarly. Tested around the world from Mt. Baker to Summit Central…the early release model is an instant quiver killing factory favorite.
Art is Mike Parillo’s “Tetons” oil painting (his first oil painting ever) originally used in the early nineties as an Emmagator graphic and now re-arranged by Lib graphic designer Annette Veihelmann. The original painting hangs at Asymbol in Jackson Wyoming… 5 beautiful photo prints have been made and Mike Parillo has donated his own personal print as the grand prize in our register and win contest…
REGISTER & WIN!- One lucky serial number/proof of purchase drawn at random from registrants wins it.

Forest Bailey Get’s Absolutely Pickled!
Over the past few years Gnu rider Forest Bailey has repeatedly strapped himself to the top of a Pickle and gotten completely weird. His skate influenced take on snowboarding is decidedly un-kosher. He rides hard, wins contests, wears sweaters, is salty and has achieved supreme balance through asymmetry. Forest Bailey has earned his very own Gnu Psychedelic Park Pickle model!
SIZES – 150, 153, 156

PICKLE TECH!
Your body is asymmetric, your snowboard should be asymmetric.
Twin asymmetric Magne-Traction Banana for ducks! The Park Pickle takes the next step in snowboard specific geometries. Banana between your feet for easy riding, catch free park freestyle performance, and unreal float in powder. Magne-Traction for unreal edgehold everywhere. Asymmetric sidecuts and construction to balance the different turning mechanics required for heelside turns and toe side turns. Your heels have power and a direct line to your edges…your toes have finger like finesse and control but your energy must be transmitted out too your toes through the power robbing 90° angle of your foot and ankle. Your body is asymmetric, your snowboard should be asymmetric. Park Pickles with a deeper heelside sidecut and unique asym core, are designed around progressive riding and modern freestyle duck stances in all terrain. Experimenting is fun! Every Gnu is handbuilt in the USA by the snowboarders with Jobs at Mervin MFG.
Gnu was founded in the early 80’s by Mike Olson who has been building snowboards since 1977. Mike pioneered deep carving sidecuts and too many other neato things.

Today Mike and Pete still head up Gnu, Tim Karpinski art directs, Barrett Christy super ripper heads up our women’s program, Banked Slalom Champ Paul Ferrel runs the Backdoor binding program, Zach Leach is our Team/mkt dude, Temple Cummins is our accessible freeride Billy Goater, Danny rips and makes TV shows, Forest is pressing everything and Kaitlyn got really good, Cody is killing it, Ryan Hollis adds intelligence. Of course every Gnu attack banana is handbuilt by the snowboarders with jobs at Mervin Manufacturing in Washington State just like they were in the beginning…now even weirder!
